5 Favourite Locations for Family Photography in South West Devon

So, where is pushchair friendly? Where has plenty of parking? Which spots look best at which times of year?
Well, luckily for you I have tried and tested many local locations with pushchairs, children and camera bags in tow. So here is my go to top 5 locations for family photography in South West Devon. . .
Plymbridge Woods
A beautiful leafy setting that weaves along both sides of the Plym River and also features a fantastic cycle route along the old train line and viaduct. This place is particularly stunning in the Autumn when the leaves create an intense backdrop of colour for family photography. View location
Dartmoor Reservoir
Not only is there a really great scenic walk around the perimeter of the reservoir, there are some great waterside spots that create fabulous backdrops to your family images. There is plenty of parking and in the Summer there is even an ice-cream van for a post session sweet treat. View location
Cann Woods
This hidden gem is a firm favourite with local mountain cyclists because of the miles of woodland trails to navigate. It’s a fantastic place to explore with the family and very pushchair friendly for little legs that get tired. View location
Stover Country Park
Another pushchair and parking friendly spot that boasts a large lake full of ducks and wildlife. This popular park has great boardwalks so kids can get up and close to nature without the need for wellies and waterproofs. View location
Radford Park
As the most urban of these five locations, Radford Park is easily accessible and a great spot for those in the Plymouth area who aren’t looking to travel too far for their shoot. Spring is the perfect time to visit as the trees put on a spectacular show with their bounty of blossom. View location
